Your email address is changing to [address]@bymail.co.za as of 1 December 2022.
The domain gmail.co.za will no longer be used for the previous free email service, and therefore your email address will be changed unless you choose to subscribe to the new gmail.co.za email service.
This means that your email address [address]@gmail.co.za will stop receiving emails as of 6 December, 2022. Your new email address will by default be [address]@bymail.co.za.
Before 6 December, you need to share your new email address with all the persons who are using your email address (e.g. friends, family, and colleagues). You also need to update any online profiles (e.g. online banking, utilities, social media, and online stores).
Please note that Webmail (and bymail.co.za) will become a subscription based service in the future, at the cost of R79 per month. We will soon share more information about this change as well.
All other services delivered through gmail.co.za, such as Website hosting, Microsoft 365, Cloud Backup and Fibre to the Home or Business will continue as normal. You may also convert your email to a paid service on the new www.gmail.co.za website if you would like to upgrade using your own domain or gmail.co.za. Gsolutions offers a SmarterMail subscriptions for R59inc.VAT per month.
